Dr. Sumit Kaur DDS, FICOI
Dr. Sumit Kaur is a certified general dentist specializing in all facets of dentistry and provides a comprehensive range of services, including cosmetic procedures like clear aligners, veneers, crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings/bonding, whitening and dental implants, in addition to emergency treatments such as root canals and teeth extractions.
At Lucid dentistry, Dr. Kaur not only likes interacting with patients but also hopes that by showing empathy and compassion, she will earn their trust and alleviate any worries they may have about the dentist.
She believes in long-lasting fixes and restorations that give her patients the desired appearance and oral health.
Where did you
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Kaur completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She also received her Master’s in biomedical sciences from the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), North Texas Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of implant prosthodontics (AAIP) and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
After graduation, she continued to explore new areas of the profession by completing Fellowships with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
What do you enjoy doing
away from the office?
When Dr. Kaur is not at the office, she keeps busy with her two little ones (Shyra & Sefaan) and husband, Shaminder.
Baking and cooking new dishes are some of her favorite hobbies.
She also enjoys traveling and doing Pilates.
